Kim Ah-Ram

Abstract
Objective : Using data from the Korean Longitudinal Study of Aging(KLoSA), this study aimed to identify changes in the participation of the middle and older adults in Korea due to changes in age and time between 2006-2018 and to analyze the factors affecting them, thus identifying the factors influencing participation.

Methods : From the raw data of the 2006-2018 KLoSA, personal factors (gender, age, religion, residential area, educational level, subjective health), lifestyle (drinking, smoking, regular exercise), emotional functions (depression, life satisfaction), and participation (frequency, diversity) were classified before undergoing correlation analysis and simple regression analysis.

Results : The frequency of participation was correlated with gender, age, religion, residential area, regular exercise, subjective health, depression and life satisfaction. Participation diversity was correlated with gender, age, residential area, educational background, drinking, regular exercise, subjective health, depression and life satisfaction.

Conclusion : The factors related to the frequency and diversity of participation were analyzed and identified.
This study¡¯s results are expected to serve as useful data for clinical sites and research aimed at investigating and participating in participation impact factors.
